I live in a beautiful country. I live in a spectacular part of this country. Arizona. It has so much to offer. Mountains, rivers, valleys, desert, cactus and endless canyons. Almost everyone knows about the Grand Canyon. It is magnificent and should be on anyone’s “not to be missed” list. Recently I discovered another canyon that blew me away.
Near Lake Powell, AZ is a hidden wonder. I was told by my guide that it’s the most photographed place in the world. I believe it. Being in Antelope Canyon is to be in God’s cathedral. I have visited many places where I felt the presence of spirit. Watching the sunrise over the crater in Haleakala, Maui; the quiet water caves of Capri, Italy; the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.
Yet Antelope Canyon took my breath away. As the light pored into the openings the sandstone changed colors. This one is especially vibrant! Giant spirals with endless complexities and glorious colors throughout the canyon. Nature has an impressive array of beauty to share with us; I feel blessed to have experienced it…google it and see the amazing shapes and colors and I highly recommend adding this to your bucket list!
