Resonance Repatterning System Adaptions – Entrainment Statements

entrainmentWhat I love about the Resonance Repatterning system besides its elegance, ability to go straight to the heart of the matter and more, is the infinite ability to adapt many parts of the system to the situation being repatterned.   When first learning Repatterning this may feel disloyal, or wrong as it is not in the instructions anywhere.   Having first learned the system over 20 years ago, I am still filled with the coaching tid bits Chloe offered at that time to adapt statements to your skills and experiences, as well as the situation requiring a session.

One small section I find very powerful is found in orientation and the concept of entrainment.  First of all the whole premise that when one field of energy (our own) entrains or is in synch with the field of another, the amplitude of the energy field doubles! As Chloe teaches, there is more energy for both parties than for any one coherent individual on their own.    The entrainment statement “We pulse together or trust, understanding, bonding with love and attaining a higher energy state of vitality and joy.”  … is a great basic statement.  However, I find it can have more meaning for a client when adapted to address information that has emerged in the session.  Often, I now change the statement to include qualities needed or an end result intended.

For example, in the case of a client attending an important business meeting, where there has been a lack of follow through or disconnect,  I changed the statement to … “We pulse together for trust, understanding, bonding with unity (instead of love), and attaining a higher energy state of vitality, vision, motivation, focus and joy for a productive meeting.”

Clients always light up and smile when repeating the statement and tell me “yes! I want that!”

What adaptions do you make to the RR system?  Your replies below are welcomed!

#ICResources for Inner Cultivation Seminar Students and Meridian Students

MC900439587[1]Last January and February, Ardis and I hosted the Inner Cultivation Seminar with Chloe Wordsworth in our online classroom.  It was the first time for me and I applaud Chloe for the body of work she has assembled in this seminar.  It does take your understanding of the Meridian and Five Element seminar information to a much deeper understanding of how energy flows (or not) specifically at the spiritual level of the acupuncture points.

In this work the Meridians are referred to as Officials.  When all are balanced we are in synch with life and things work out well.  When one meridian goes off or becomes non coherent, the other meridian officials rush in to help out.  There in lies the mystery and practice of unravelling the patterns.  To solve the mystery and bring coherence  we learn new aspects of meridian work including the 5 essences, the Three Treasures  and what deplete them.   There are many new associations the student can learn to understand not only the energy imbalances but determine the best acupuncture point to harmonize the system and become whole again.

In these repatternings the role of the practitioner is prompted to be something of a detective.  As we explore the patterns arising in the session, –  the effect of the client, the emotions, body language, and what the client reveals in their answers, the detective in us gains clarity on the best acupuncture point.  Over several sessions  we also move towards an understanding of the client’s constitutional type, that helps guide us to find the imbalances in future sessions.

The exploration of patterns, emotional and constitutional characteristics etc will naturally set you fingers walking through the doorway at Google.  In my case our Toronto Public library also has some wonderful related material.  My goal is to share the resources i have discovered with you in a series of related posts.  Students of at least the Meridian and 5 Element seminar or Inner Cultivation I am sure will find these useful.

I will provide links on Twitter and/Google+ with the hashtag #ICResources.

Today’s gold mine of a fine was found I believe on some old pages at http://www.acupuncturetoday.com magazine website.  It is from a column of articles called Classical Five-Element Acupuncture by By Neil Gumenick, MAc (UK), LAc, Dipl. Ac.  This page has a list of articles for each of the Meridian Officials and related articles.  They may be downloaded as PDF’s .   Most of the articles added a little something to what we studied in the class but they were also great to read as they confirmed what you already have learned and helps to make it practical.

ENJOY!

Chakra Repatterning for Business [Free Ebook]

chakrabusiness(Reprinted from August 2014)

After learning the resonance repatterning system, I became one of many who became inspired to apply resonance repatterning to long distance work fondly known as group proxy sessions.  “Proxy me into that session” is the refrain of savvy practitioners who know what it means to be part of the larger amplitude of group energy.  My inspiration landed in the form of  a 15 session series called Mastering MY Present Moment Project  where i repatterned the group week after week through the chakra system.  I would ask participants to name an overall intention and the weekly topics related to each chakra was aimed at clearing the energy to support the overall intention.  I envisioned it as the overall intention having a life force of it’s own and the chakra repatterning was tuning up the structure or system of that intention.

One of the most popular topics in that series was for business or career especially  for healers.   The most gratifying aspect of running the program was for all of the positive results it returned for participants.

chakrabizIn our latest free ebook, Ardis and I have combined some of the relevant chakra repatterning patterns, with those that became regular items from my M-MPMP series and combined them for  a new repatterning. Our intention is for practitioners to use it for their own career and practice.     Your feedback is welcome along with any suggestions.

Services for Seeing Clients Eye to Eye… VSee or ZOOM?

MC900435253[1] Are you using video conferencing as yet for your repatterning services? Many practitioners provide sessions by phone or by Skype which has worked fine for many. If you are ready to notch it up a bit, consider doing your sessions by video conferencing to have more of an ‘in-person’ style session.

We have been using the wonderful free services of a company called http://www.VSee.com to host our “Learn Resonance Repatterning Online” classes since we launched the classes online in 2012. In hindsight, it was a steep learning curve to do live interactive classes online and help all students feel comfortable with the technology.

However, mastering this tool has proved to be well worth it. We love the service primarily for it’s outstanding ability to narrow the lip synching on a video call providing the callers with a dynamic interactive experience. The free app provides us with a file sharing option so you may share notes, a chat feature for individuals and the group, and a contact list feature that allows you to organize contacts into groups for group calls (or to locate someone more easily)

But with recent upgrades earlier this year, we have been finding that not everyone experiences the joy of VSee with similar high quality broadcasts. I can only speculate on the reasons – Mac Upgrades lag behind new codes written for the PC versions, the latest version perhaps has higher equipment requirements, or maintenance of the free version is falling behind – I am not sure.

So it was with delight we were informed about another service called http://www.Zoom.us. The free version is very limited, so I purchased a pro plan at $14.95 per month to test it out. In the past 6 weeks I have hosted several meetings and individual sessions with colleagues using a variety of computer equipment. So far the results are very encouraging. It seems no matter where you are in the world, when provided the video access link, callers find it easy to get onto the call without frustration. Access is equally good whether you are on a PC or a MAC. The sound quality is excellent and the lip synching is also good.

There are a few things that are different primarily the layout of the screens. While VSee allows you to drag and drop screens on your monitor, and arrange your classroom however you like, the ZOOM site controls the layout. As a participant you have the choice of seeing everyone on the screen in a grid or only see the face of the person currently speaking. They have an improved RECORD feature that records the video and audio saving it to your desktop, a chat feature, and share screen feature.

Unlike Skype or VSee, ZOOM does not have a contact list feature. Essentially, to use the service you must set up a meeting which generates a link, then manually send the link via email to your participants. The chat feature in ZOOM only works when you are in a live call whereas with VSee you may send a chat without making a call provided the recipient has their VSee app turned on.

One of the peskiest problems with both services has to do with who controls your webcam. If you have recently used SKYPE or other services using your webcam, you need to totally exit them first before using ZOOM or VSee. If you do not exit them first, ZOOM or VSee will not be able to use the camera or possibly microphone. You will need to leave the call, restart your computer, exit SKPYE and then call back in. Whew!  Cameras with control issues!

If you are considering doing video conferencing for your sessions I encourage you to try out both services beginning with www.VSee.com as it is free and still an excellent service. Stay tuned however, for some of our larger group events presented on ZOOM.

Do you use a different Video conferencing service?  Technology like this has come a long way and there are many new proliferating services.  Let us know what and how you experience them. Comments welcomed.

Practitioner TIp: Add to your stash of humorous items for healing options

They say laughter is the best medicine and is no doubt the reason for appearing in several places in Chloe’s Spiral Up! book of energizing options.   Under Positive actions for example, one of the sections lists items for relaxation and Joy (Humor).

When doing a session recently, the positive action ‘read something funny’  came up as something to do prior to starting the session.  At a loss of humorous material on my book shelf I remembered that I had started a Pinterest board for the topic of HUMOR and collected a number of pins that got me giggling in the moment.   I shared my computer screen  with the client (in this case it was a video conferenced session) and our first step of the session was easily accomplished.

I now keep that link handy in my favorites in case I need it for a session.   Thought fellow practitioners might appreciate this new use for Pinterest!   Here is the link to my humor board.  Not sure if you need an account to view it or not.
