Lajja’s story (From Feral to sweet loving House Kitty – with Spunk)

100_3165The year was 2008, more precisely June 2008. I had just returned from a lovely trip to California and I had one goal in mind: To resume my Resonance Repatterning studies through applying myself in developing and deepening my skills by doing the exercises in the back of my books.

One early afternoon while stepping outside to check my mailbox, this beautiful but hungry kitty walked up to me. I could see she was actually a mama kitty with babies nearby.  Caring for other animals myself I couldn’t resist in finding out if she needed any help. I could count three kittens, already with their eyes open, walking around and looking healthy; but mama was really skinny. So, another activity was added to my days. Every morning I would step outside on my front porch, feed and spend time with them. The same routine repeated itself in the later afternoons.

100_3128  My husband had already warned me that we were not to adopt another furry companion. I was then suddenly in charge of finding loving homes for each one of them. There was just one problem. Mom and two of the kittens were getting along with us just fine. My husband and I could pet and play with them without a problem. A third kitten however, had a completely different opinion about those two weird two legged beings… No matter how hard we tried we could not get her used to us. Any attempt in petting her consisted in lightly touching the tip of her tail with the tip of one of our fingers and with her very much offended growling, hissing and running away from us.

My thoughts were: How can I find a home for a feral kitty? And, if I find a home for the other two plus mom, how can I leave this kitty fending for herself on the streets? None of the options sat well with me.

In the back of my mind I was thinking that I needed to do a Resonance Repatterning session for these kitties so they could resonate with finding a loving home, but since in my heart I was secretly wishing that ours would be their forever home, I found myself procrastinating.

One morning after spending time with them on my front porch and the whole hissing display repeating itself by the feral kitty, whenever I tried to get close to her; I went into my office with the intent of doing a very short exercise in the back of my 5 Element and Meridian book. I don’t remember exactly what happened next. It was as if this system had a life of its own and guided me to a full blown Meridian Repatterning on Decision Making. So, despite my resistance I found myself doing a Resonance Repatterning session on the whole situation and dilemmas involving the four kitty cats. After the session I didn’t think much of it, except in the late afternoon when I went to feed them, sitting on my usual spot at the stairs of my front porch something amazing happened. All of a sudden, the feral kitty walked up to me, stopped and stretched the side of her neck by my right hand. She was asking me to pet her!! When my husband got home he could not believe what he was seeing and, to make a long story short, by the end of that night all of the kittens were making themselves at home in my house. They had found their forever home!  Mom was adopted by our neighbor across the street. All three kittens found themselves completely at ease around our two dogs and four cats. They were respectively named Shanti, Jasmin and Lajja. Lajja being our feral one.

100_2021What happened to her you ask? She kept her Spunk, her funny and adventurous spirit of a little cat that knows what she wants and when she wants it. One of those things just happens to be her daily neck massage requested by her like clock-work… Up to this day, when we think about it the only thing we did differently was changing the resonance of the situation through that very interesting Resonance Repatterning session. Today, July 2014, Lajja is still with us. A very important part of our family with a sweet and loving nature but with her usual spunk – We can say that Resonance Repatterning did change her life…

About flaviafuller

I have been studying Resonance Repatterning since 2007. I have used this amazing system on myself, with family, friends and with my animals as well. I have recently started studying Flower Essences with a group in UK. We are currently studying twelve different ranges. I would love for you to join me on my journey in becoming certified. I love to work with people and animals. My dream is to also apply this system with wild animals in wild and in captivity. Energy is their language, they get it! Last, but not least, I also use Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential oils in my RR sessions. The sessions can be done in person, over the phone or through Skype.
