I love the work of Thomas Kinkade who was known as the painter of light: “My mission as an artist is to capture those special moments in life adorned with beauty and light. I work to create images that project a serene simplicity that can be appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. That’s what I mean by sharing the light”. He produced over 1,000 masterworks that included nature scenes, classic cottages, lighthouses, gardens & seascapes.
He often spoke about a mentor/neighbor named Glen. Nearing the end of his life Glen inspired him to focus his art on the light: “God is like the light; His hands holding the whole world together- it’s the light that lasts forever; paint the light”.
The new vision repatternings and exercises are all about light. How to bring more light into our system to change the things we wish to change. Einstein said “there is no darkness, only the absence of light”. It only takes a speck of light to change everything. Even our perspective”. Now that’s encouraging!
