#1: Belief Repatterning: Procrastination

What is in my way:  “I have so much I want to do and create but I keep pushing it off “.  What I want instead is “to flow and produce with creativity, passion and joy.”  Through the ingenious RR process I came upon a surprising revelation:  I seem to believe there is going to be a major interruption in my life… something that is going to derail me.  So my system is keeping me from even getting on (the) track.  Before this repatterning, I would never have articulated my situation in this way.  But I now see a pattern, beginning with my grandmother (whom I never knew) who died in her early 30s, “interrupting” her life plan.  Her death “interrupted” my mother’s childhood.   While my mother was in college in 1929, the stock market crash and ensuing Depression “interrupted” the money available for school and altered her life from thereon out.  After my mother married, her husband of 10 years took his own life, “interrupting” her life plan once again and leaving her with 2 young boys to raise.   Her 2nd marriage, a delightful and very happy event, “interrupted” her flourishing career as she left her work and took on motherhood to two stepchildren.  At the age of 45 she was “interrupted” by my birth.

While I had always envisioned my conception as a “delightful oops,” my appearance in her world must have been a major “interruption” to the plans, thoughts and visions my mother would have had at that point in her life.   These interruptions in my grandmother’s and mother’s lives left an energetic imprint within them… an imprint that I inherited.  Why start something big if there is going to be something that’s going to interrupt it anyway and I am going to have to refocus?  When life dictates the change (my children’s birth, a death in the family, a health crisis), I respond famously.  When wanting to put seemingly “non essential” dreams into action (create a blog, write a book, expand my business), I have conveniently buried them by creating or taking responsibility for a barrage of “essential” projects or coming across fires that need putting out.

And now for the eye-opener… the unconscious belief within me:   Men interrupt women’s life path.  Life needs to be put on hold.  I need to wait until I am alone to proceed.  Yikes!!!  I do not want to be operating under such a belief system!!!  I have chosen an amazing life partner in my husband and have been blessed with phenomenal children in whose lives I want to be involved.  Any hold up I am experiencing is mine and mine alone.  This means I and I alone can change this dis-empowering belief pattern.  Now that this belief is out in the open it loses a tremendous amount of its hold.  Through the Resonance Repatterning Spiral Up process I have “interrupted” (love the play here) the vibration of those life-depleting beliefs, freeing up energy previously tied up within me and allowing for a new vibration to support a new belief:  I lead the way for others.  I love this new belief and “charge”… the heaviness and dread are replaced with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm.

We become what we think about

My participation in the 26 in 52 challenge has been around the theme of an in-depth exploration of the grief process and the use of essential oils to clear the non-coherent patterns that arise in the course of these repatternings. In her intro to the Negative Thoughts repatterning Chloe Wordsworth identifies eight categories of what she calls destructive mental activities. Typically we work on one of these at a time, and the one that came up for me to address was Worry.

I don’t usually think of myself as a worrier, and so this was a revelation, that I’ve had worrying going on in the background just below the level of my conscious awareness. After my husband passed away, my financial situation became somewhat less predictable than it had been, and I found myself having to deal with deferred expenses, particularly in relation to necessary home repairs and maintenance. I’m…

The Ancient Lizard Within…

Our 26/52 challenge continues with the transforming unconscious patterns book. If you have been with us since the beginning of our challenge you have completed the nine repatternings in the primary patterns book. Please let me know how that has been for you by leaving a note at this blog. If you have not started the challenge yet I want to invite you to join our challenge now. It’s easy to catch up! There are six powerful repatternings we can do on ourselves to release childhood trauma and beliefs about ourselves in our little yellow book. We will start with the Reptilian-Limbic Brain Repatterning.
When we are little and scared we don’t usually have the ability to go into action. If we don’t get support and reassurance from our families our muscles lock into habitual tension. In the present, when something resembles the earlier event, we unconsciously go back to those stored responses in our body. This makes it very challenging to live in our bodies and move freely with strength and flexibility.
My Reptilian-Limbic Brain Repatterning focused on my birth trauma. I had the experience of being blocked in my attempts to get out of the womb. I felt panic and my belief that there was no-one to help me. That has translated to struggling to do everything myself in my adult life. The habitual stress response was the protective startle reflex. I have worked on releasing my shoulder blades and upper back for years! Doing the Somatic movements felt wonderful as I let go of the old habitual tension. Please let me know how your session went!

It’s Time Somebody Told You…

Do you feel uncomfortable when someone gives you a compliment? Is it difficult for you to express appreciation to someone? Your frequencies may be out of synch. When that happens you no longer resonate with the highly coherent state of love and gratitude for yourself, others and life.

The Appreciation Repatterning always makes me cry. Especially when I  read: “Time Somebody Told You”…It moves me deeply. It moved me today when I needed to shift my resonance for appreciating my siblings. Updating my little girl is very sweet and touching.

When we resonate with appreciation it activates a lovely cascade of endorphins and neurotransmitters that lead to feelings of pleasure, love and joy.

I hope you are embracing appreciation. Letting go of criticism and judgments is so freeing. “It’s time somebody told you that you are lovely, good and true and that your essence shines bright. It’s time somebody told you that your love is complete and that your strength and warmth uplifts. It’s time somebody told you how much they want, love and need you, how much your spirit helps set them free. It’s time somebody told you that joy is in your smile and that your eyes fill the world with light. It’s time somebody told you. It’s time for me to tell you…”

9-26 in 52 primary patterns are finished…

2652I have completed all the repatternings from the primary patterns book. If you have participated in this challenge with me congratulations! Don’t you feel better? I know that I do. Being more coherent gives me energy. Resonating with positive goals and aspirations makes me joyful.

This might be a good time to check in with your muscle checking. You can go to the muscle checking section in the rainbow book to letter B-e in the intention category. This will take you to a list of intentions for muscle checking yourself and another. The list is in the primary patterns book. Either mcs for the intention you need or just select one that you want to resonate with.

We will be continuing our challenge with the Transforming Unconscious Patterns book. Next week I will start with the Reptilian Limbic Brain Repatterning.

Be proud of yourself!
