What am I willing to attach my name to and the Commitment Repatterning.

Have you ever tried to change your name?  My initial decision to do so was easy, but the implementation not so much.  Follow my story of integrating a change of name using the 26/52 challenge.  My posts will reflect what each repatterning has contributed to my overall intentions. Your comments and support are appreciated!

The amount of emotional resistance I felt around writing this post told me that I definitely need to write it. I completed the Commitment Repatterning a couple of weeks ago, but I have resisted writing this post until now. For my commitment, at the beginning of the repatterning, I stated that I am 100% committed to writing an article on my sauna company and to being authentically known as Elizabeth Kochanik. Then “projects” came up for me as part of the additional commitments needed. The statement I received was “I enjoy initiating a project and seeing it through to completion”. It make complete sense to me now why that statement came up for me coupled with my resistance. It took a little bit to integrate this repatterning, but I am here, writing to you and seeing it through to completion.

As the repatterning progressed, my earlier experience was about being born breech, feeling stuck and being unable to move forward. I realized the impact my birth process was still having on my life. As I continued on to the action step, I committed 100% to writing my sauna article, “The Beauty of Healing Light” and it became crystal clear to me how my resistance to putting myself in the public eye was similar to my birth process and how it felt as though I was resisting being born and being fully seen. I can definitely see the correlation between the Commitment Repatterning and writing the article with my name attached to it and being visible in the public eye. It is amazing how shifting these patterns has eased my resistance about writing an article to be published.

Light and Love,

Elizabeth

#7 of 26 in 52… Creative Self Image repatterning

2652I am ready to reclaim my creativity. I am doing the creative self image repatterning from the primary patterns book this week. As a young child I knew I was a creative genius! I fearlessly approached each project with confidence and excitement. Then my 4th grade teacher decided that my painting of a fruit bowl was less than stellar. She used it as an example of what not to do. I felt tremendous shame and I actually remember deciding in that moment that I was not creative.

I want to change that old belief. It has stifled my creative energy. Do you have a story you want to share about your creativity? I would love to hear it.

My Understanding of Resonance Repatterning in a nutshell

Before I begin my Challenge synopses, let me share my understanding of this unique and effective approach called Resonance Repatterning®.   I, like all of us, am a compilation of beliefs that I have accumulated throughout my lifetime and I see the world through the lenses of these beliefs.  For example, I may believe I am a procrastinator; because I believe this, I will talk about myself as a procrastinator, see and experience myself as such, finding convenient ways of pushing deadlines, attracting “fires” to be put out and encountering seemingly legitimate reasons for not taking care of business.  If I have a certain belief, I will make sure that I am always right.  I will think, speak and act in those terms, cementing the frequency of that belief.  I may have adopted that belief in childhood by overhearing a teacher talk about me, believed it from my parents’ innuendos, bought into society’s expectations of how a “successful” person acts, or even carried it over into my lifetime from generations past.  No matter where this or other beliefs come from, it carries a frequency that vibrates within me and I “resonate” to it.  I will do what I need to do to make sure I am in resonance with the frequencies within me.  If I want to change a belief (because the belief I have is causing discomfort, frustration, annoyance, impatience or is just plain getting in my way!), I will need to change my resonance (frequency) so that this belief can no longer hang out in my experience.  Not only do I want to remove the belief’s vibrational “welcome mat” within me, I want to create a new vibrational welcome mat for what I want instead.  Resonance Repatterning is a modality to do both!

Where in the Resonance Repatterning world is Georgia?

I am accepting the 26/52 Resonance Repatterning Challenge on two levels… first from Ardis Ozborn (Resonance Repatterning Practitioner and my on-line Trainer) to complete 26 repatternings in one year; and second from Carolyn Winters (my personal Resonance Repatterning coach) to create a blog that chronicles my adventures through the Repatternings.

I work with my clients as a Holistic Healing Coach, facilitating body-mind-spirit alignment.  This sometimes takes the form of physical body work (massage, reflexology, muscle release), energy healing (Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Integrated Energy Therapy, etc) or coaching (Resonance Repatterning) and most often my sessions with clients are a compilation of all approaches (hence body-mind-spirit alignment).

I also facilitate self-help and practitioner-level classes and workshops.  All of these are based on the principle of “practitioner, know and heal thyself.”  For this reason I am delving into the 26/52 Challenge.  The Resonance Repatterning approach facilitates deep inner awareness along with built-in modalities to help shift the energies surrounding the root causes of our dis-harmonies, discontent and dis-ease, resulting in increased levels of freedom of being, expression and purposeful, passionate living.

In order for me to facilitate this for my clients, I must facilitate it for myself.  Thank you, Ardis for the Challenge.  I accept!  And thank you, Carolyn for the added fun aspect of blogging and sharing this journey with others!  Here I go…

Generational Gifts…

As infants we survive by bonding with our parents. We resonate with their frequency patterns. This supports the downloading of massive amounts of information and new learning for us. This means that we get all the patterns. Both their coherent personal and generational patterns and their non-coherent ones. Throughout this process we develop a self-image built on the foundation of previous generations. If you resonate with coherent parental qualities you have a positive self image. If you resonate with the non-coherent qualities you have a negative self image.

I did the Self Image Repatterning this week. Very interesting! If you haven’t taken Primary Patterns in awhile I recommend getting the new book dated 2011. Chloe has made some lovely improvements to this repatterning. E.G.: “What negative or artificial things do you do to feel better about yourself”?. ”

This is number 6 in our 26 in 52 challenge. If you are not following yet please reconsider. It is powerful and fun doing it with a group of like minded souls who really do want to be fully realized. If you are participating in the challenge what came up for you? Have you shifted that old resonance???
